FAQ

In Jason's words: "It was Pete's Dragon or The Goonies. Or maybe it was The Neverending Story. Possibly Gremlins. Whatever it was, I was bitten by the movie bug at a young age and have never recovered. And I hope I never do. Ever since I was a kid, my favorite thing to do has always been (with the exception of the short time in junior high writing songs with my heavy metal band) watching movies, critiquing them, and debating their merits (or lack of) with other movie lovers. I work at a historic indie movie theatre (a dream job for me), I see hundreds of movies a year, and I do my best to keep my review blog I Hate Blogs updated. Sure, I have other interests, but ever since I sat with my Mom in the back row the first time I saw Gremlins (so that I was close to the exit if I got too scared!), it's hard to beat the magic in the air when the lights go out, the screen flickers to life, and the story begins. Whether it's David Lynch, Werner Herzog, Akira Kurosawa, George Romero or John Hughes, I'm down for whatever."
