FAQ

Dennis Cozzalio owns and operates the virtual corner store known as Sergio Leone and the Infield Fly Rule, where he writes reviews, long essays and short observations about movies old and new. The blog, which began inauspiciously three and a half years ago, has been a wonderful outlet for its author to write about films as disparate as The Passion of Joan of Arc, His Girl Friday, Frankenstein Must Be Destroyed and 1941, while at the same time affording Cozzalio the opportunity to meet lots of wonderful people in the film criticism and filmmaking communities, many of which he has appreciated from afar for years. In addition to those mentioned above, his favorite movies include Nashville, Only Angels Have Wings, Kind Hearts and Coronets, Rio Bravo, The Godfather (Parts I & II), Mandingo, Dressed to Kill and Aguirre, the Wrath of God. He hopes to someday retire with his wife to his native Oregon and devote copious amounts of time to both watching his daughters grow up and catching up on his DVD collection.
