FAQ

In Chris' words: I've always loved movies, but didn't become obsessive about them until I moved to San Francisco in 1998. After living in the black hole of Houston, Texas for many years, being in SF opened up a whole new world to me. I was like a kid in the cinematic candy store. Seattle, where I live now, is also a great film town. For the last 9 years, I've been seeing 200+ films a year. I used to write about movies in a blog called Film Lovers Are Sick People. That site died a slow, lingering death but my love of film lives on and now competes with my newest obsession--beer. You can find my occasional ramblings on that subject at The Beer Retard.
