Charles Lyons is something of a grassroots nomad of a film critic; he's written for sites such as In Review Online and The Reelists, among others, as well as toiled away for a bevy of local magazines and publications. He also incepted and edited a film-focused webzine called Gone Cinema Poaching from early 2009 until the middle of 2010, which got exactly one notable mention at The House Next Door. Gone Cinema Poaching employed writers from across the web to contribute articles, reviews and general discourse on independent and foreign cinema. Currently Charles bides his time obsessively updating an unpublished film journal, charting out a pending personal website and contemplating his next move.
